Being A Grandma
I think of all the positions there are on earth, the grandest is being a Grandma. I have a dozen of them, and each one is a cherub, a charmer, and a jewel in the crown of my life. To say I feel complete and blessed is an understatement. I have enjoyed each phase of each of their lives..watching in amazement as their parents (my own grown up babies) fulfill their needs and desires. They all have their sports and their hobbies and somehow they find the time to be there. I have attended a fair share of recitals and games and plays and award ceremonies...including our oldest grandson's honor society award this year...I have shed tears and choked up at the pride and love and joy I feel inside for their beautiful caring hearts...In a world where there is lack of respect and appreciation as the common denominator..my grandchildren have always shown me just the opposite. From their preschool days of shouting "Grandma is here!!!" To their shy in front of their friends "Thanks for coming Grandma"...they have made me feel like a million ...many moments of love bursts...and if I focus on the joy of life it will be on this group of wonderful loving examples that will make this world a better place. Thank you God for our Grandchildren, and our beautiful children for giving them to us.
